About Benjamin Miraski

Benjamin Miraski is an journalist in Chicago. He graduated in 1999 from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, with a BS in Commerce and Engineering with a specialization in Finance. During that time, he developed the basis for the MRI, and submitted as his senior thesis, a study on how publicly owned sports team's performance can affect its stock price.

In 2007, Ben left his job at a major IT consulting firm to pursue a career in sports journalism. He currently works for the Chicago Tribune in Prep Sports.

He is very interested in statistics and mathematics, and of course, college football and basketball. During his spare time, he enjoys reading, running, and cooking.
