My "AP" Ballot - Week 4

AP LogoHarder and Harder to fill out. That is what this fake ballot is. I should have known this week would be bad on Friday when Oklahoma State lost to Troy, or maybe there was an inkling on Thursday when TCU lost to Air Force.

All I know is that game after game just kept coming in with upsets galore, and trying to piece it all together was something of a mess.

I do know that if I were a real pollster, I would have been blasted by the FanIQ blog this week. I don't have Kentucky above Louisville, even if they pulled the upset. I don't even have Kentucky in the Top 25. I don't have South Carolina ranked any higher than #24. There is something about beating up on South Carolina State which doesn't lend itself well to the top of the Top 25, even with a win over Georgia. I even ranked Michigan State, and although Critical Fanatic is a huge Spartan fan, he is probably harder on that team than anyone I know, and would probably run circles around me for my #25 placement of the team.

However, I am not a real pollster (at least not yet), and therefore, I am semi-immune from the blasting.

That said, this was still a tough week to rank. What do you do about UCLA and Louisville? What do you do about Arkansas? I am not quite sure yet.

I am sure that LSU and Oklahoma are the two best teams on the field right now, even if USC beat up on Nebraska this weekend. That said, each has a tough road ahead, and I wouldn't be surprised to see this change a lot anytime soon.
