My "AP" Ballot - Week 8
I guess I can't go wrong this week. Even the professional writers put 6 different teams on the top line. I chose the one that most of them chose, Ohio State. Not that it is getting easy to pick this.
One of the big debates I had was if I should keep LSU in the top 5. I almost did but moved them down to #6 and slotted South Florida in the top 5. Do I think South Florida has what it takes to go undefeated all the way? Maybe. They certainly showed that they have the defense against Auburn and West Virginia to slow teams down. But the Big East that they have left is full of huge offenses, including Louisville, and Cincinnati. I would guess they lose one of those two games (and wouldn't Louisville like to ruin someone else's season now that theirs is in the toilet.)
Feel free to rip me. As with last week, I am not sure that even this ranking of the teams is correct.
